My exciting client that focuses on specialty vehicles has contracted me to find them their next Steering, Suspension and Braking Engineer
Responsibilities:
- Designs, develops and tests suspension, steering and brake systems for an amphibious vehicle.
- Analyzes test data. Performs ride evaluations.
- Uses CATIA to perform design work.
- Reviews and approves FEA reports.
- Conducts the development and definition of testing requirements.
Qualifications:
BSME or equivalent years of experience in the items above along with CATIA v5 experience and knowledge of regulatory requirements. Five years of suspension design and development, steering and/or brake experience a plus. Experience using DFMEA, DFM and PFMEA for product development needed. Experience in power sports, ATV and marine industries preferred. Design team leadership preferred.
