This leading global financial services organisation are currently seeking a Storage Backup Consultant / Storage Backup Engineer to join their expanding diverse team. You will be based within the Solutions Architecture Technology Group and be involved in the creation of new middleware, infrastructure database deigns supporting innovative worldwide projects, whilst working with cutting edge technologies systems.
You will act as the Storage Subject Matter Expert and be responsible for delivering the design of storage solutions whilst being accountable for the strategy and technology roadmap. You will be working closely with the business providing critical strategic consulting providing strategic solutions.

Key Skill Requirements:
*Design, configuration and implementation of solutions based on NetApp SAN and array technologies
*Experience in the design, configuration and implementation of EMC VMAX, CLARiiON Centera Storage Arrays and large complex SAN infrastructures.
*Experience of design and implementation of enterprise backup solutions using Symantec NetBackup
*Experience with enterprise class IBM tape library technology
*Experience implementing/supporting EMC Timefinder, SRDF, Powerpath, Connectrix Manager, Control Centre and Powerpath.
*Knowledge of Brocade/Cisco SAN switch technology
*Storage Management Experience of designing/configuring and/or supporting storage solutions utilising SAN and Enterprise Tape components within a highly availability environment.
*Good understanding of AIX and Solaris operating systems in relation to the presentation and management of storage.
*A good understanding of windows and VMWare platforms in relation to storage management
