Store Implementation Specialist

Description Major Duties/Responsibilities as a Store Implementation Specialist Plan, coordinate and monitor medium-complexity to complex projects from concepts through implementation. Develop and maintain a working knowledge of equipment and technology platforms, drawings and specifications, materials, and required standards. Maintains a project schedule to include preliminary construction updates, pre-wire tasks, equipment staging, materials procurement, and installation tasks. Head project meetings and prepare meeting minutes and presentations. Financial responsibilities: review budgets, purchase order request, change order reviews and final billing reviews. Determine resource requirements (including software, hardware, 3rd party vendors and internal departments) of projects, based on specifications. Identify, track, manage and mitigate risk on all projects. Escalate these issues when necessary to ensure minimal impact to quality, budget, and time line. Develop project documentation and file all project documents (hard and soft copies.) Manage the relationship with all internal and external partners, sub-contractors, and stakeholders. Use sound judgment in all project communication and ensure that key stakeholders including the team, stakeholders and management are apprised of project activities in a timely manner. Define and track project success metrics. Ensure project meets internal and client expectations with respect to quality, budget, delivery time lines, and strategy. Assist in evaluation and solution of potential vendor problems, referring them to the manager. Travel to specific site locations to perform quality control audits and grand opening support. Requirements 5+ years of experience as a Store Implementation Specialist. Superb project management and vendor management skills. Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders. Strong working knowledge of installation and configuration of setup and implementation of servers, POS, telephone, sound systems, in store network and low voltage wiring. Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple priorities, detailed work, reasoning, deadlines. Must be flexible, analytical, and posses excellent communication and interpersonal skills (tact, diplomacy, influence etc.) Will be interacting with multiple departments and working independently. Demonstrated ability to work in a small team setting. Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision. Must have strong time management and organizational skills Self-motivated and able to grasp new concepts quickly. Demonstrated experience in coordinating complex projects that are strategic in nature and national in scope on time and on budget Knowledge of project planning and management procedures, practices, and techniques. PMBOK, Six Sigma, and ITIL Skills preferred. Strong analytical and problem solving skills. Skill in operating a personal computer and utilizing Microsoft software. Proficiency in MS Office, with advanced knowledge of Excel. Basic working knowledge of the concepts of retail information technology and related hardware components. Comfortable using on-line tools for training purposes to assist in the use of new applications. Positive, proactive, and readily embraces change. Knowledge of Networking Infrastructure. Retail experience is highly desired. Bachelor?s Degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience required. What's In It For You?
