What you’ll do as Store Manager – the details!

·         Primarily responsible for managing an individual location which sources, stocks, sells, and delivers auto parts to local installers and other potential sellers of auto parts.

·         Drive store sales to meet/exceed sales and gross profit targets.

·         Manage all functions of store operations, which include personnel, inventory, credit, payroll, deliveries, pricing, shipping and receiving, customer service, warehousing and distribution, security and safety, and fleet maintenance.

·         Ensure that customer service standards are high and that complaints are quickly resolved.

·         Maximize sales potential through identifying new ways to drive sales and building relationships with customers in your market.

·         Motivate, coach, mentor, manage and train team members; delegate assignments to Assistant Manager and other store staff as needed; monitor and evaluate team member performance

·         Lead by example, inspire teamwork, and communicate company procedures and policies.

 

Knowledge and Experience Desired:

·         Minimum 3-4 years of previous experience managing staff (retail or wholesale, selling environment)

·         Experience in the automotive industry preferred (if you’re willing to learn, we’re willing to train!)

·         Must have operations experience with full PL responsibility

·         Bachelor’s degree preferred, not required

·         Previous sales/selling experience required - must be comfortable with the sales dynamic

·         Ambitious, results driven and goal oriented

·         Ability to work well in a fast-paced multitasking environment

·         Solid verbal and written communication skills, as well as interpersonal skills

·         Detail oriented, with strong decision-making and problem solving skills

·         Highly developed sense of integrity and commitment to customer satisfaction, with good decision-making and problem resolution skills

·         Self-motivated with a drive to succeed; experience coaching and motivating others

 

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:

·         Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally as needed

·         Must be able to stand for long periods, bend, climb stairs/ladders, and use a computer

·         Travel by car to stores and customers as needed
