The position of the Strategic Account Manager is to develop and maintain relationships with clients and candidates within the identified client base and to provide tailored resourcing solutions to match their requirements.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic company and become a key member of the team. The successful candidate will have the following objectives and responsibilities:
- Developing new client relationships
- Establishing/maintaining excellent working relationships with clients, leading client meetings and presentations where required
- Working closely with our clients to fully understand their business needs and requirements
- Managing and closing the offer and contract stage through to successful completion
- Reviewing applications provided by the Research team and meeting with candidates to evaluate their career path and add value by providing dedicated professional career guidance
- Working with the Research team to source outstanding candidates through the appropriate channels - including headhunting, referrals, advertising, databases etc
- Accurately matching candidates with current roles and client requirements timely and efficiently
- Contributing towards the company’s overall revenue target by being an active member of a team, sharing information and providing support where appropriate to colleagues
- Researching the market and ensuring that you develop the depth and breadth of knowledge required to build towards being a subject matter expert within financial services technology
- Providing expert benchmark information for clients on; industry activity, availability, salary, candidate pools etc.
- Networking internally and externally with clients and potential clients to raise the profile of Nyman Resourcing and build stronger and deeper relationships
You will need to be able to demonstrate the following key skills and experience:
- Minimum of 2 years proven track record either as an internal recruiter / resourcer within a Financial Services Organisation or as a Project Manager within technology projects for Asset Management, Investment Management, Wealth, Pensions etc
- Experience of Account / Project Management
- Solid knowledge of Financial Services with particular emphasis on Technology. An understanding of the regulatory challenges facing Financial Services organisations would be highly desirable.
- Demonstrate drive, motivation, professionalism, passion and overachievement
- Demonstrate the ability to gather complex information from multiple sources and summarise succinctly in written and verbal form
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Proven decision making ability and sound judgement
Given the nature of this role you will need to possess strong interpersonal skills and be able to work face-to-face with clients and therefore excellent presentation and communications skills are key. You must enjoy developing business relationships.
