Strategic Recruitment Manager – Financial Services recruitment

Our client is a global asset management organisation with an enviable reputation across global financial markets. Poised at an exciting stage in their growth in Asia the need has arisen to hire a strategic Recruitment Manager of the highest caliber to join their regional management team in Hong Kong.

Reporting to the Head of Human Resources APAC, you will set recruitment strategy to ensure that there is a strong talent pipeline across the region; that correct recruitment methodologies are being used; and you will be responsible for reviewing and upgrading recruitment policies and processes. You will also need to develop strong working relationships with recruitment agencies as there will be some 'hands on' recruitment work involved. This is a newly developed headcount and a critical hire for the company and will pose an exciting and strategic challenge for the successful candidate.

You must be degree qualified and have at least 8 years of relevant recruitment experience working for large multinational corporations, ideally within the financial services industry. You must have 'hands on' recruitment experience, and candidates who come from a Generalist background will also be considered if they have been heavily involved in talent acquisition in the past. Fluency in English and Cantonese is required with Mandarin being advantageous. Above all, you must have the passion, resilience and credibility to deal with senior management and the strategic side of recruitment.
