Responsibilities
Overall Job Purpose: Responsible for the implementation and maintenance of credit strategies in automated control systems. Accountable for the delivery of the internal and external teams services and performance. Design and implement architectural system changes to facilitate new and innovative business practices.
Key Accountabilities: -Design and Implement credit risk management strategies within automated control systems. -Provide direction to maximize value of service through enhancements and servicing solutions. -Manage internal or external vendor relationships to maximize efficiency and service performance. -Manage team of strategic service analysts who will assist with execution of strategies and enhancements. -Ensures thorough staff understanding and implementation of operations, policies, and procedures. -Facilitate selection of 3rd party service providers and manage partnership
Person Specification: In most cases they will impact significant portions of business processes / systems and will be held responsible for the results of those areas. Decision making authority is broad and allows for discretion. Business decisions with significant dollar impacts will be reviewed senior management. Will interact regularly with internal and external contacts. 4-year college degree in a quantitative / technical discipline required. MBA or other graduate degree is a plus. 5+ year credit systems or equivalent experience ¿ preferably in the bankcard industry. Exceptional technical skills associated with specific software/processes utilized to manage credit strategies. Computer literacy /proficiency in data query tools such as SAS, SQL, Oracle, Unix, and MS Office. Proven ability to process vast amounts of data into meaningful information. Strong communication skills ability to work independently and manage a team. Ability to solve advanced problems and deal with a variety of options in complex situations. Credit card experience strongly preferred, but not required. Proven record in problem solving and business innovation. Ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
