Description

Responsible for managing and mentoring a team of developers. Collaborates with other technical leads as well as the Development Manager in envisioning and defining the technical architecture for the department. The new architecture will be flexible, extensible, supportable, secure, allow for agile development, and allow for integration with third party applications/packages. Responsibilities include: Supervises staff, mentors developers, creates training plans, interviews, and hires staff. In conjunction with project managers, oversees the work stream of developers. Maintains/improves the team s technical expertise. Works with business analysts to flush out requirements. Integrates systems. Customizes, configures and extends applications. Designs new applications: fixes bugs, re-factors, improves, reduces duplication and extends functionality.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will thrive in a dynamic, challenging environment. Typically has 10-12 years related experience.
