Strategy Analyst

Our leading financial services client is looking for a strategy analyst to work within a small team that leads the Strategy and Planning function specifically within the clearing space.

Responsibilities and Tasks:

The Strategy Analyst will act as an interface between Business and Technology, supporting the agreed IT Strategic agenda

You will be working within the Strategy and Planning function with the following responsibilities

  1. Support with design and development of a new Cost Model to enable chargeback to the business
  2. Formulate opportunities for innovations and improvements in efficiency and cost reduction
  3. Support with the Data Strategy initiative
  4. Keeping track of IT performance and coordinating effort across IT in providing management information
  5. Prepare and support the development of significant IT Programme business cases
  6. Support the team in producing collateral for various meetings, events and conferences

The person will have prior experience of strategy and worked in technology preferably, with prior MA experience

They should be great communicators, consultative in nature, and able to work effectively with teams.  

This constitutes an excellent opportunity for any consultative professional who has already gained strategy experience ideally within the financial services space and is looking to make a real difference to an organisation.

Experience:

3-4 yrs experience in the following areas, ideally with a consultancy, having progressed from the Analyst to Consultant level.

- Understanding of Technology Architecture / trends

- Experience of IT Financials

- Basic IT Strategy experience so he/she is able to support with PowerPoint presentations

- Understanding of Capital Markets sector (optional)

- Delivery experience (optional)
