Strategy Consulting: Restructuring & Turnaround; Associate & VP recruitment
Our client is a world leading strategy consulting and professional services firm with a global presence and a multiple award winning practice across a variety of sectors and markets. They are a leading player in this area with a highly recognisable, global brand seeking top of the class Associates (3 - 6 years) and Vice Presidents (7 - 10 years); for their restructuring and turnaround practice.
With over three decades of experience in strategic, operational, and financial restructuring, our client offers a complete management solution and 'one-stop-shop' approach to turning around companies.
Their restructuring team operates globally across our specialized industry groups, sharing cross-industry restructuring know-how and combining in-depth market understanding with hands-on experience to ensure sustainable implementation. Recent project examples include:
- Working capital and cash flow optimization
- Overhead cost reduction through reorganization of business units
- Footprint revision (selling non-core assets, closing locations)
- Customer portfolio optimization
- Production cost reduction and efficiency improvement
- Procurement and sourcing optimization
- Product portfolio restructuring
These roles will involve; excellent technical, analytical, financial modeling, data management, project management, writing, presentation, negotiation and communication skills. Ability and willingness to undertake extensive travel domestically and internationally is required. Knowledge of company bankruptcy, insolvency and reorganization processes, cash management and working capital management skills are preferred.
Candidates will have relevant level consulting, financial analysis and modeling skills, preferably in the areas of performance improvement, financial restructuring, operational restructuring and operational turnarounds for bankrupt and distressed companies. Candidates are required to have skills building 13-week cash flow models and integrated 3 statement models.
The ideal candidates will have some consulting experience however our client will consider individuals from a variety of backgrounds; consulting, professional services, investment banking and industry.
