Structured Products Analyst/Manager
Candidates (depending on their specialty) will support a variety of structured product lines that include but are not limited to CMBS/RMBS/ABS, CDO, CLO, Credit Cards, Student Loans, etc.
Responsibilities may include, but not limited to:
- Advise banks on methodologies to initiate and improve securitizations as well as GSE delinquent loan repurchase programs.
- Analytics and analysis for clients with portfolios of ABS, RMBS and CMBS bonds
- Issuance reengineering, due diligence and compliance of CDOs/CLOs/SIVs
- Transaction modeling and analytics, which involves cash flow modeling and deal structuring to define the characteristics of each deal, including bond principal and interest payments, credit-enhancement, hedging instruments, fees and waterfalls for ABS, RMBS and CMBS deals
- Analyze complex mortgage loan structures including senior subordinate structures, pari-passu loan structures and mezzanine financing.
- Perform due diligence on all type of fixed and adjustable rate loans for all asset types.
- Devise improvements on offering documents for market changes and provisions for Dodd-Frank and Regulation AB.
- Write engagement letters, proposal letters and Agreed upon Procedures Reports which detail due diligence, cash flow modeling, and deal structuring and auditing procedures.
- Assist clients in understanding both the credit and legal risks of loan portfolios, thus enabling clients to securitize more loans and create additional liquidity in the US market.
- Analyze valuation of illiquid securities, pricing assumptions and methodologies.
- Perform valuations on CDO/CLO Equity and Debt tranches for Investment Banks and Hedge Fund clients
- Model bond and collateral cash flows for various structured products transactions
- Review and document the structural mechanism on CDO, CMBS, MBS positions
- Investigate structured products trading fraud
