Subcontracts Administrator 5 Job in Redondo Beach, California Us
The Ground Systems Business Unit has an Operating Unit Subcontracts Leadership Position located in Redondo Beach, California. This position manages a team of professionals in support of a restricted portfolio of Programs. The preferred candidate will possess strong leadership skills and the ability to achieve Program objectives within a rapidly changing environment. A strategic thinker with understanding of key business processes, products and technology are critical for success. Candidate will oversee new business pursuits, development of supplier terms and conditions for subcontract RFPs to assure compatibility with prime contract requirements, company business interests, and Northrop Grumman Corporate policy and government procurement regulations. Excellent communication and strong relationship management skills are a must. Position will report to the Director, Ground Enterprise Operating Unit and the Manager of Subcontracts for the Ground Systems Business Unit.
Current SSBI clearance
Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or related field
15 or more years of Aerospace industry experience managing a broad range of subcontracts including complex Cost Type instruments.
Thorough understanding of the government contracting process including teaming, RFP, price analysis, negotiation, cost/schedule management and performance phases.
The following will be an asset for this position:
Technical background in software or ground system development
Prior personnel management experience
Understanding of EVMS
Experience with SAP.
