Growing retail display fixture company is seeking a Final Assembly Supervisor. Responsible for planning, organizing, directing, and controlling to meet production goals within defined budget.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and direct team responsible for final assembly of retail display cases, including installation of glass, hardware, and lighting.
- Train new employees in all aspects of the technical process and product application that is unique to the industry.
- Collaborate with and support the management team, operations team, and marketing staff as needed.
- Meet or exceed standards in safety, quality, delivery and cost targets.
- Manage batch production runs for optimal efficiency.
- Manage material flow, productivity, and shop personnel in order to achieve established delivery schedule within defined budget.
Requirements:
- Minimum 5 years of supervisory experience in a fast paced manufacturing environment.
- Experience in woodworking, furniture, or retail fixture manufacturing.
- Knowledgeable and experienced with the use of tools and equipment common to the woodworking/retail display fixture industry.
- Knowledge of LED lighting installation and UL requirements.
- Familiar with OSHA health and safety regulations as they apply to operating a woodworking shop.
- Knowledge of cabinet construction and possess the technical skills needed to build and repair cabinets.
- Highly organized team player who can inspire others.
- Solid computer skills, including Excel.
