SUPERVISOR, QUALITY ASSURANCE CUSTOMER SERVICE
 

With a long history of international business success and a strong focus on exemplary customer service, Fresh Start Bakeries is one of the industry’s leading manufacturers of premium baked buns, English muffins, cookies and other baked goods.  As a global supplier, FSB has bakery operations in eleven countries on five continents, and maintains a strong position within the foodservice marketplace.  We have an opening for a Supervisor, Quality Assurance Customer Service at one of our North American bakeries located in Ontario, California.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provides ongoing training and development of all employees concerning product quality, customer satisfaction and compliance with established Good Manufacturing Practices.

Audits the established process control checks on a daily basis; audits or provides for the inspection of all incoming ingredients and containers at time of delivery.

Performs necessary laboratory tests (product, raw material, packaging) on an ongoing, as needed basis, including timely recording and distribution of all test results.

Responsible for the visitation and development of information gathering systems for customer restaurants in plant service area.

Responsible for the collection, recording and distribution of customer complaints and submits summary to Manager, Quality Assurance and Customer Service on a timely basis.

Supports and participates in departmental meetings and the “Quality of Work Life” program.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum 1 year of Quality Assurance and/or food related experience

Bachelors degree preferred

BRC experience a plus
