Responsibilities
Overall Job Purpose: Oversee the supplier management function. Responsible for leading and executing the supplier strategy and managing more than one supplier relationship. May include management of offshore supplier. Primary accountability for delivering supplier contract obligations, achieving service level agreements, supplier performance, cost improvements, process improvements, and maintaining adequate controls. Partner with departmental Audit and Compliance team and Bank Vendor Due Diligence team to understand and mitigate risks related to supplier and ensure compliance. Maintain key documentation regarding supplier performance, risks, management and strategy.

Key Accountabilities: -Monitor performance of supplier. -Conduct regular telephone conferences and on site reviews to evaluate performance and operational issues. -Ensure completion of MIS to evaluate performance. -Conducts Monthly Business Review to communicate supplier results to business. -Develop and revise supplier contracts. -Conduct contract reviews and gap analysis. -Define and implement process controls to ensure adequate supplier performance and alignment within overall supplier network. -Review and evaluate process controls for gaps, issues and process improvement opportunities. -Define and implement placement strategy to supplier. -Validate reconciliation. -Interact with Barclays Audit and Compliance, Legal, Vendor Due Diligence and Commercial *Management to understand all required aspects of supplier management. -Document results of reviews, expectations and action items. -Ensure quality monitoring occurs for suppliers. -Conduct calibration sessions with supplier to reach consensus on expectations and results. -Make decisions regarding supplier direction and feedback. -Assist director in strategic decisions. -Seek guidance for complex/strategic decisions.
