Job Description Job Classification: Contract Responsible for Inspecting, Evaluating and Auditing of Materials, Components, Product and Processes. 1. Evaluates and tests sheet metal parts, printed circuit boards (PCB) and electrical components using a variety of tools and instruments. Checks and inspects parts against Specifications to decide if parts should be accepted or rejected. -2. Investigates part problems outside of SQ area, analyzes the data and gives recommendations to management. -3. Compiles data and issues Acceptance Test reports, Test Data sheets, Non Conforming Material Reports and Audit Reports. -4. Works with Component Engineering to improve test procedures, test programs, methods, reports, test jigs and reliability evaluation. -5. Analyzes Supplier Performance and reports status to management. -6. Prepares monthly reports for distribution. -7. Works with Suppliers / subcontractors to ensure they perform work or rework on parts or the facility to established EMS standards, etc. -8. Travels to Supplier sites to do Site Surveys, Source Inspection. -9. Performs process, product and system Audits to assure compliance to documented requirements. -10. Assist in the preparation of the budget. -11. Must be able to work existing shift or new shifts as required. -12. While performing the duties of this job, for the duration of shift (eight (8) hours and possibly up to 12 hours), the employee is required to stand and walk. The employee is required to use hands and fingers to handle, or feel objects, use tools, or operate controls. The employee frequently is required to reach with hands and arms. The employee is required to bend at the waist, twist, kneel, squat, stoop and get up and down. The employee is occasionally required to talk or hear.
