Support Analyst

Senior Support Analyst required to support London financial infrastructure.

Resolve Incidents and Problems
Monitor Remedy for Incidents and Problems
Analyse problems and decide on suitable resolutions
Report current status to relevant business and IT teams
Follow documented incident management procedures

Strong business knowledge is required for working with business teams during investigations.

They need to be subject matter experts in the technologies used by the applications supported. They may be required to provide detailed technical support for developers producing new releases of these applications.

Must be self-motivating with the ability to prioritise workload amongst the team. This role will also involve mentoring of offshore staff.

Key Technical Skills:

A strong understanding of Oracle Service Bus and underpinning technologies, Weblogic and Java 6.
Candidates with an excellent track record in other messaging technology stacks would be considered for this role.
Exposure to UNIX (preferably Solaris), Shell scripting, SQL
