Support Associate for Portfolio Management Team
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Organize and distribute portfolio appraisal reports to appropriate portfolio managers
- Maintain broker list, update ticker lists and distribution
- Monitor client-specific restrictions across portfolios and update client guidelines
- Assist in research/investment related projects as needed
- General administrative support for the team – filing, processing expense reports, answering phones, mail/fax delivery, maintain sick/vacation calendar and reporting
- Coordinate all travel arrangements for CIO and team
- Maintain business calendars, schedule internal meetings and company visits for CIO and team
- Maintain confidentiality of client and employee information
- Create and maintain spreadsheets, draft correspondence and memos
- Organize communication with overseas offices
- Produce PowerPoint presentations
- Flexibility to work market hours
- All other duties assigned
Education/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum 2 years relevant experience in an investment administrative/portfolio support role
Other Skills and Abilities:
- Advanced technical skills in MS Office - Outlook, Excel and Word
- Ability to multitask and take initiative
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in working with numbers
- Strong customer service skills and team oriented
- Ability to work with time constraints and meet deadlines
