Summary:

·         Create complex online surveys using specialist market research software. Look after multiple surveys simultaneously and efficiently

Reports to Project Manager or higher level

Key Responsibilities

·         Programming of complex surveys and using individual components to spec. agreed.

·         To understand complex programming elements and the ultimate outputs required, to ensure accurate and timely execution of programming.

·         Testing of surveys; all surveys must be thoroughly tested by the programmer, another Qubiq programmer, the Project Team and the Client prior to launch.  Any resultant changes must also be tested.

·         Clean survey data and hand over to Data Processing and Data Analysis with explanations to minimise errors and confusion.

·         Assist Senior Management with any other tasks as required.

·         Follow the procedures as described in the ISO Manual, to maintain a high quality of client service at every stage of the research process.

·         Promote, at all times, a pleasant working environment for all staff and workers in the group, fostering good relationships.

Skills Outline – In order to fully develop into the role, you must demonstrate competency in key behavioural and technical criteria:

Technical

·         Programming - Understands how to use Flash, JavaScript and HTML to build and implement high quality survey components.  Thoroughly understands how to use Confirmit (specialist MR software for online surveys) including scripting, launching, managing quotas, using Reportal, and exporting data.  Has a wide understanding of online software, tools and programming languages.

·         Use of Excel - Is a very competent Excel user and can use it for a variety of tasks including sorting and checking data, making calculations, writing formulae.

·         Attention to detail - Checks data, tests and validates databases and generally has excellent attention to detail.

·         Keyboard skills - Is a good typist: very comfortable using a keyboard, quick and accurate.

·         Project Management - Liaises with the client and other departments as needed, with supervision depending on the complexity of the project.
