SVP, Payments Clearing – Applications Development/Service Delivery Manager, Global Corporate & Commercial Investment Banking Technology recruitment

Our Client operates in multiple countries across the region, offering a wide variety of products and services to its clients. In Asia-Pacific, product offerings are currently centered in Corporate and Investment banking, Securities, and Wealth management.

The Corporate Banking Technology group provides technical analysis, delivery management and development for regional Corporate Banking and Treasury related initiatives. The focus is on regional system development leveraging local vendors where appropriate and enforcing risk governance and compliance to bank standard technologies.

Role Responsibilities

•Oversee Technical Program Leadership, Vendor Management and Development resources.

•Initiate and provide leadership, strategic/tactical direction and planning input to regional information technology programs

•Partner with regional Product and Operations groups to understand business strategy and high level roadmap

Essential

•A minimum of 12+ years total experience

•A minimum of 3 years experience as a senior technology manager

•Experience of successfully facing off to senior business leaders and technology executives

•Experience of vendor selection and engagement

•Demonstrable experience of working to resolution complex issues involving multiple groups and business priorities.

•Strong matrix management skills including influence, conflict resolution and negotiation.

•Proven and established associate/talent performance management experience essential

•Experience of international payments clearings and the technology used to process payments (Example – SWIFT)

•Experience of Treasury Services / Investment Banking process and products

•Excellent spoken and written English, clear oral communication skills. 

•Excellent relationship building and networking skills

•Experience of project methodologies (SDLC / Agile).

•Engineering/Computer Science/IT degree or Graduate

Desirable

•Experience of SIX SIGMA / DMAIC phases
