We are now inviting qualified individuals to join this team in the role of SVP RM in the Non-bank financial institutions, Insurance Fund Sector.
Principle responsibilities:
Reporting to the MD, Head of Financial Institution Group, Global Banking the role will require the jobholder to manage a portfolio of existing clients, generate new revenues by identifying cross-sell opportunities as well as pursue any new business opportunities by following up potential leads. The jobholder will be responsible for deepening his/her relations with clients by maintaining a constant dialogue at CFO/CEO/CIO/COO level in order to grow profitable long-term relationships.
- Coordinate origination and execution of activities across the spectrum of HSS products/service, payment and cash management services, trade and global market products. Build the Global Banking franchise value/reputation in the market.
- Drive achievement against targets for revenue generation, product alignment, customer satisfaction and cost containment.
- Identify event driven opportunities on an opportunistic basis, bringing in sector/country expertise as appropriate.
- Aggressively grow HSBC’s share of client wallet involving product specialists to ensure product capabilities are in line with client/sector requirements
- Actively seek to maximise relationship returns from both existing prospective clients.
- Actively coordinate and promote local as well as regional initiatives.
- Regularly analyse client revenues performance and review portfolio composition accordingly.
- Maintain ‘Trusted Advisor’ relationship and access at key decision maker level for assigned clients.
Skills/ Attributes:
- Proven achievement in leadership/management roles.
- Proven ability to gain substantial business for the Group across a full range of products.
- Track record of building developing long term relationships including at key decision maker level for all clients.
- Ability to develop a strategic dialogue with the client on a multi-dimensional basis.
- Knowledge of industry and exposure to Asia Pacific market and regulatory environment
- Excellent portfolio management skills.
- Preferably knowledge of HSBC Group and products, and a strong network of contacts across all business areas.
- Proven record of proactively developing and originating client solutions.
- Advanced understanding of risk management and risk mitigation.
- University graduate with more than eight years of relevant banking experience.
