Job Description:
The Syngo.via Applications Consultant is responsible for:
Acting as a critical member of the Syngo.via Regional Response Center support team in Cary NC.
Providing multi-modality post-processing and Advanced Visualization application training and support to end-users (e.g. Radiologists, Cardiologists, Medical Technologists), both during implementation and post-implementation
Understanding interdependencies of and within multiple applications and clinical areas (e.g. Radiology, Cardiology)
Implementing and supporting clinical workflows
Troubleshooting and fixing clinical workflow issues
Accurately assessing customer needs and diagnosing/analyzing customer applications issues/questions
Providing cross modality support during customer training – CT, MR, MI and AX
Working closely with IT Analyst for analyzing and troubleshooting advanced visualization application issues
Working closely with Clinical Education specialists in order to stay updated on customer education content and requirements
Consulting with and assisting end users in making the most effective use of advanced visualization applications
Providing feedback to Product Management on application usability based on customer feedback and support tickets
Supporting Sales team for post-processing applications based on customer feedback and requests
Utilizing remote systems and workstation connectivity in order to connect and view issues on customer systems
Working with in-house modality support groups and modality vendors to assist with interoperability issues including DICOM send/receive, DICOM Modality Worklist, DICOM Query/Retrieve, and DICOM Print

The selected candidate must be able to work flexible working hours in order to train end users on all shifts.
Must be able to travel overnight up to 50% of the time.

Requires 5+ years in a clinical background with multi-modality, BS/BA in natural sciences, experience with hands-on clinical applications, experience in customer relations is preferred. Strong consideration will be given to candidates with past radiology/imaging clinical experience. Candidates with RT certification are encouraged to apply.
