System Administrator recruitment
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities:
The Global Markets Treasury Windows Middleware Services is responsible for providing and supporting Windows- Servers for the Global Markets Treasury Applications running based on Windows. To provide the best support for the systems located in London a local Administrator is needed.
Functional:
-Contact person for all relevant areas of Windows administration.
-Installation, administration, and maintenance of complex Windows-based servers and clusters.
-Installation, administration, and maintenance of complex virtual Client environment based on Citrix technology
-Monitoring availability, performance and capacity of the administered systems.
-Organization and execution of problem resolution and Change requests (RFC/RFE).
-Introduction of new systems/products: planning, execution, and roll-out.
-Integration with central system management and documentation systems.
Organisational:
-Integrated in an international team, mainly based in Munich as well as a large international organisation.
Person Specification:
Knowledge:
-Significant knowledge of Windows Server 2003/2008, AD and Linux
-Significant knowledge in set up and maintain clusters (e.g. MS Cluster)
-Knowledge of the current Server-hardware and architecture
-Knowledge of Virtualization (e.g. VMWare, ESX, Citrix)
-Solid knowledge about general infrastructure

-Ability to recognise and manage inter-dependencies
-Ability to perform under pressure.
Qualifications/Training:
-Microsoft Certifications

-Substantial experience in a similar job within an international company
