Description
The Payment Systems Communications (PSC) team’s primary responsibility is running the Bank’s Real Time Gross Settlement (RTGS) system. RTGS lies at the heart of the payment and settlement infrastructure of the UK.
Communicating and building working relationships with external parties CHAPS Co, CHAPS Members, Euroclear UK Ireland (formerly Crest), SWIFT and software suppliers (SI). Also internal communication including Senior Management/Heads of Divisions and other areas within the Bank such as the IT and customer banking divisions;
Skills Required
The job requires good communication and interpersonal skills and the successful candidate will need to be a team player who is flexible, with strong drive and determination
A commitment to undertaking external studies and/or qualifications would be an advantage.
