I am currently liaising with several globally based hedge funds that are actively looking to bring in Systematic / Algorithmic Traders. This includes traders working within any asset class or trading on any frequency.
The ideal trader can come from two backgrounds:
1. From an established bank, hedge fund or prop house where they have run substantial capital. These traders must have researched, developed and traded their own strategies (run the entire process) and have had success over the last 18 months.
2. An independent trader who has the infrastructure capabilities to conduct the entire systematic trading process from their home of office. This again includes the research, development and trading of their automated strategies. Ideally such traders will already be running over $1MM themselves, but feel free to make contact even if you are running slightly less.
Requirements:
1. Either, a proven track record with daily figures, or, substantial recommendations and proven history (obviously some firms don’t allow track records to be taken so good recommendations and reputation can substitute here).
2. A history of trading and a track record for at least 9 months, but ideally longer.
