User administration (Europe wide) on Sun 5
Maintenance of Group and UK charts of account and analysis codes in Sun 5
Ledger database maintenance and development Sun 5
SUN 5 Helpdesk
Backup Disaster recovery for all Finance systems
Monitoring data integrity in Sun 5
Development and documentation of system processes
Maintain account mapping tables between Group systems
Manage period open close, including year-end close down and roll forward in Sun 5
Transfer monthly data from SUN to GMIS and resolve errors
Lead development of data transfer processes and data storage - protection
Support development and use of other Financial systems - Clarity FSR, QA10, PA Bank Rec, eRemit.
Projects
Assist the project to implement SUN 5 in 2 other European countries
Restructure the existing Group ledger into separate operational databases
- Experienced administrator of multi-user, multi-currency accounting systems, preferably including SUN
- Familiarity with UK general insurance accounting
- Strong stakeholder-management and communication skills
- Proven track record of working within a deadline driven environment
- Part qualified - qualified ACCA or CIMA preferred
- VBA experience desirable
