Systems Accountant 6 Month FTC
We are searching for a Systems Accountant to be part of an IS team within a precision engineering and manufacturing company.
In this role, you will ensure delivery and improvement of the Performance Management (PM) application service by both the Performance Management team directly as well as the Application Management Service provider.
The Systems Accountant will, as part of the PM team, support, maintain and develop the Performance Management consolidation system for organisation and its divisions.
You will liaise with the AMS service provider on specific technical issues and enhancements.
The Systems Accountant will also be responsible for the maintenance of Agresso security (HQ treasury general ledger) and HQ Concur (expenses system) security.
Key responsibilities will include:
· Process, develop and test structural changes in PM, including related changes to screens, scripts, enhancements, reports and process documentation.
· Maintain users in PM, Agresso and Concur.
· Support PM users using the PM service desk.
· Write reports in PM using reporting services and application studio. Create and maintain reports as and when required by all five divisions as well as corporate users
· Test PM during upgrades and other changes.
· Interact with ES, EA and other BIS functions in the articulation / deployment of application services including Projects, Enhancements, Config Change
· Train users in use of PM, best practise and in response to specific enquiries.
· Maintain the PM database to maximise efficiency and reliability of PM system.
· Provide out-of-hours support when required via remote access tools
Key processes include:
· Maintain PM team documentation and change controls.
· Ensure data integrity in PM, by following control procedures and checking output.
· Comply with all SG MIMs / Governance / Security / Change Control processes meeting SMI / Enterprise Architecture / ES / BIS Operations requirements
Work with the AMS provider to insure a smooth / efficient process working with the AMS Enhancement Stream leads providing status on changes
· Experience as an Accountant (CIMA/ACCA certified or part-qualified)
· Strong maths skills and ability to use logical thinking
· Ability to manage the relationships
· Experience working with a multi dimensional systems
· Strong BI background and/or Accountancy consolidation background
3 years+ experience working in a similar environment / function
