Agile Sharepoint-System Administrator
Role Description
- This person will act as a member of a Agile project team.
- This person will report directly to the Technical Support Manager for a large SETA contract.
- Projects will be both internal and external.
- This person will have two main areas of responsibility – SharePoint Administration (including Lync Server and Project Server) and System Administration.
- Responsible for configuration and maintenance of the SharePoint environment including patches, backup/recover/replication of SharePoint site collections and configuration, documentation of configuration, site collection creation, help desk ticket response, deployment of custom web parts, content deployment from development machines, etc..
- Responsible for configuration and maintenance of the Operating system (including Active Directory) environment including patches, coordination with network engineers, etc.

Required Experience:
Required Experience:
- Required Overall Experience: five years
- Required Specific Experience:
- 1-2 years experience in SharePoint Administration or System Administration
- Additional 3-4 years of related experience in one of the following SharePoint Administration, Web Portal Administration, Web Portal Design/Creation, Windows System Administration, SQL Server Administration
Required Education:
- Required Education: bachelors degree or equivalent experience
Notes/Miscellaneous:
- Work Hours: Ability to work 40 hours per week in the DC Baltimore metro area (office in Columbia, MD)
- Required Certifications: None
- Required Tools: MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Experience with SharePoint Designer, PowerShell, STSAdmin, Central Administration is highly desireable
- Experience with MS Visio is desirable but not required
- Experience with VMWare and/or VEEAM is desirable but not required
