One of our major Healthcare clients here in NYC is looking for a Net Backup administrator that knows version 7.1 thoroughly.. This candidate must be a strong communicator and show leadership skills! Must have a solid background with Data Deduplication and Netbackup Administration. This person will support the Net Backup environment. This environment consists of multiple tape libraries with server counts in excess of 1000. The successful candidate will support a mixed environment(mostly Windows) of Windows, SUSE Linux, RedHat Linux, AIX and HPUX Clients. He or she will also be responsible for all daily operation activities (for example: Backup, restores, report metrics) with opportunities to troubleshoot high level issues. Will use Tivoli Workload Scheduler (TWS) to create backup and restore jobs and schedules. This person will also work with other Netbackup team members on design implementations of new Netbackup technologies and features as needed. Needs to be able to work independently and be creative. Qualifications: * 7+ Years practical experience as Netbackup Administrator supporting VMWare, Windows and UNIX * In-depth knowledge of Netbackup 7.1 concepts *In-depth knowledge of Data Deduplication * Installation and configuration of Netbackup Master/Media and clients * Installation and configuration of Netbackup Database agents * Experience in troubleshooting backup issues by analyzing netbackup error codes and logs * Experience in migration and upgrade of Netbackup Master/Media servers * Experience using Netbackup OpsCenter and creating custom reporting * Experience performing backups restores (including NDMP, Snapshots) * Experience configuring, setup and support of Netbackup volume pools, storage units, polices, tape drives, robots and Data Deduplication. * Fair knowledge of scripting Join TEKsystems() and get your career on the fast track.
