Systems Engineer II-Medical Device:
Summary:
The Systems Engineer II will support project teams in the development validation of electrophysiology ablation RF generators, catheters systems at our Company. Project support includes product verification validation testing, overall design, test method development design for manufacturing.
JOB DUTIES RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties may be assigned)
- Support product development teams as an extended team member designing testing electrophysiology ablation RF generators, catheters systems.
- Present design alterations for current products. Ensures appropriate documentation of changes.
- Responsible for performing design reviews pre-validation evaluations to guarantee the safe environmentally secure processes designs.
- Prepare Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA) on novel products.
- Perform Design of Experiment (DOE) studies.
- Responsible for the purchase or design of equipment that meets environmental, health, safety standards created by the company.
- Responsible for ensuring personal company compliance with all company, Federal, local State regulations, policies procedures for Health, Safety Environmental compliance.
- Recommend employ electrical standards used in validation testing.
- Interface between external vendors core team.
- Maintain laboratory notebooks, create engineering designs, develop plans perform measurements on all work.
- Conduct testing (Bench, VV, in vivo); create utilize test protocols; produce written reports.
- Conduct system analysis, software evaluations reviews.
- Travel to customer sites, domestic international, to gather VOC, perform testing /or perform troubleshooting activities.

EDUCATION /OR EXPERIENCE:
- A BS Degree in Electrical Engineering or comparable is required. A MS Degree in Systems, Biomedical, Electrical, Computer, or Engineering is ideal.
- Must have minimum of two years experience in a related field.
- Must have knowledge experience with Design of Experiments (DOE) methodology.
- Must possess understanding of Failure Modes Effects Analysis (FMEA) methodology.
- Must have knowledge experience with RF generators.
- Knowledge experience in development processes in documentation writing.
JOB SKILLS:
- Ability to use PC associated software.
- The System Engineer II will have the knowledge, experience capability to provide technical leadership on cross-functional teams.
- The System Engineer II will have solid problem solving skills with fantastic communication skills.
