Technical expert in IT systems specializing in one or more specific technology area ( Infrastructure Application, Server Operating Systems, Desktop Operating Systems, Virtualization, Directory Services, E-mail, Disaster Recovery, Security, Antivirus, Storage Management, Print Management, Hardware Management, Mobile Device Management, Application Deployment, PKI, ) in a wide variety of technologies (i.e., software and/or hardware). Maintain high degree of awareness about emerging technologies and advise IT management. Provide expert advice and engineer repeatable processes relating to deployment, support and maintenance of all areas of expertise. This could include some project management of internal projects. Qualifications Qualifications Education Minimum Education Requirements Associates degree or equivalent experience may be substituted for the degree. Knowledge/Skills Minimum Knowledge/Skills Requirements In-depth knowledge of enterprise environments and ability to engineer solutions to include but not limited to: Windows Server Operating Systems, Desktop Operating Systems, Citrix 4/5/6, Citrix Access Gateway, Hyper-V and VMWare Virtualization platforms, Active Directory, Group Policy, Exchange 2007/2010, Disaster Recovery, Antivirus, Dell EqualLogics, ISCI SANs, NetApp Filers, Print Management, Hardware Management, Blackberry Enterprise Server, Systems Center Operations Manager, Systems Center Configuration Manager, Windows PKI, and DNS. Ability to understand complex systems and IT protocols. Ability to constantly adapt, learn and support new technologies. Experience Minimum Experience Requirements 7 years of progressive IT experience to include 5 years experience supporting complex environments as well as multiple infrastructure systems or operating systems.
