Job Description Job Classification: Contract Systems Engineer Develop and analyze documents to generate and manage system requirements for programs. Manage program requirements to ensure all aspects of customer requirements are met. Must Have: -Minimum 3-5 years of experience managing projects from start to finish -Doors Database Experience to manage system requirements (excell would be OK too) -Strong experience with system requirements and definition -Automotive or Aerospace background -Process Orientated- improvement and development- ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The Systems Engineer will be responsible for: - Development, implementation and management on all programs within the Company - Requirements change management -Responsible for DOORS management and requirements management within modules - Installation, trouble shooting, technical support, upgrades, configuration management, and documentation development - Interfacing with Mechanical and Structures Engineers on a regular basis and will be responsible for automating DOORS using DXL and integration of DOORS into other tools - Managing requirements and decomposing subject requirements into their respective components - Performing root cause analyses and implementing corrective actions in order to correct deficiencies - Developing and maintaining Internal and External Interface Control Documents -Developing documentation in support of customer requirements i.e. SDRLs/CDRLs -Generating and executing test plans in support of program validation and verification. - Participating in bid and proposal process i.e. generate Basis of Estimates and System Specifications QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS: Detail oriented with ability to multi-task in a fast moving environment with shifting priorities and changing requirements. Bilingual (English/Spanish) desired, but not required, with strong communication and decision making skills.
