Systems Programmer/Analyst II Job in Farmington 84025, Utah US
STARTING ANNUAL SALARY: $53,601 - $66,310 (commensurate with qualifications)
Position may be underfilled as a Systems Programmer/Analyst I depending on the number of qualified applicants; starting salary range: $47,881 - $59,280, commensurate with qualifications.

EXAMPLE OF DUTIES: Performs complex project lead and technical duties including analyzing software and writing programs. Analyzes needs and resources to select and plan data processing applications. Reviews information needs with users; advises on computer requirements and limitations to help users in defining needs and problems. Coordinates with users and manages turnover of new programs; evaluates progress of projects for early detection of problems. Generates reports and keeps records on outstanding system problems; analyzes daily computer problems for possible programming solutions. Selects appropriate testing data and design testing methods; makes corrections and system modifications; develops conversion procedures and conversion schedules; measures system perofrmance after implemention. Performs programming assignments to include coding, testing, debugging, and documenting programs. Documents all programs according to established standards to maintian current written information about the system.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education and Experience: Graduation from accredited college or university with a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or a closely related field, plus two (2) years of full-time computer programming/analyst experience in Visual Studio application development including C#, .NET, ASP.NET; an acceptable combination of education and experience may be considered.
- Must pass the Davis County Sheriff's Office background investigation. Must possess a valid Utah Driver License. Employees driving a personal vehicle while on county business must maintain the minimum vehicle liability insurance.
