Systems Project Coordinator Job in Winnipeg R3B 1B3, Manitoba Canada

The Systems Project Coordinator is responsible for coordinating activities and resources in support of technical projects that may impact multiple departments, systems, or work-flows. May coordinate straightforward projects independently, or assist Department Managers with components of large scale projects.

Responsibilities:

• Assist Department Managers and/or other technical staff, with day-to-day project administration.
• Participate in and chair team meetings.
• Coordinates meeting and provide other administrative support as required.
• Track project changes and produce project status reports.
• Prepare and/or edit meeting minutes, presentations and tables.
• File project documents (hard and soft copies)
• Assist in project plan and specification analysis to provide clear, trackable and coordinated project steps.
• Research and recommend solutions to project administration issues, including conflicts, interferences and errors/omissions.
• Liaise with other departments and external sources as needed to address project issues.
• Understand and perform document control functions in accordance with on-site policies and procedures.
• Other duties, as assigned.

• Highly organized with the ability to multitask.
• Ability to accurately and effectively manage large volumes of information.
• Strong client focus and the ability to work with employees at all levels.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as in a team environment.
• Demonstrates analytical and problem solving skills.
• Demonstrates resourcefulness and judgment to resolve routine problems relating to assigned projects.
• Displays courage and confidence in conducting difficult conversations and delivering bad news.
• Produces accurate work with a strong attention to detail.

Education Experience:

• Postsecondary education (college or university) with a exposure to Project Management, Computer Science, Business Administration or a related field.
• Three to five years of experience coordinating technical projects is considered an asset.
