Duties
Bowhead is looking for a Network Engineer with VoIP experience to work with a team of engineers focusing on Cisco Voice communications within a large enterprise environment. The VoIP Operations Team supports numerous devices including Voice Gateways, ATAs, FXS/FXO cards, Call Manager, Unity and other analog and digital devices. Communications for PRI's and other analog lines will require troubleshooting and coordination of efforts with multiple telecommunication companies.

VoIP Engineers will work with different groups within the organization to maintain available voice service. This will include communicating to all internal teams about changes to the VoIP infrastructure and any new requirements for voice communications. The VoIP Operations Team will act as a main point of contact for all Cisco voice related issues within the organization.

Monitoring tools are used to observe server errors related to Call Manager, Unity and Active Directory servers. In the event a communication system fails, it is under the responsibility of the VoIP engineer to troubleshoot, configure and replace the failed equipment.

Documentation is a key area to maintain the standards for VoIP. Each engineer will be required to uphold the standards set by enterprise level SOPs and documentation.
