T0 P&L Senior Manager/Change Analyst recruitment

UBS has decided to invest further in its deploying a sustainable Middle Office strategic process and infrastructure particularly in the areas of TO PL, Market Data and Transaction controls. This is a critical initiative for the heads of the Investment Bank and Group Operations areas and is highly sponsored and visible within the firm.

The Strategic Program team is currently being assembled and so we need to very rapidly assemble a talented group of middle office change professionals who can define and drive our agenda. The program is starting on its delivery phase in some streams, however in many areas there is still a chance to join definition of the strategy and planning for the next 1-3 years.

The group has a philosophy of excellence in business process driven project definition, planning, execution, and benefits realisation (“Change the Bank”).

• A role has now arisen for a senior Manager/Change Analyst to play a key role in delivery this year, with a view to the role expanding to encompass further areas in the future.
• You will be managing a substantial program across all functions/areas and so you must be comfortable with dealing with MD-level peers and clients across the organisation.
• Your role will be to provide leadership and content input in the design and implementation of a IB-wide T0 PL control process, working independently with a wide range of stakeholders.
• You will work in close partnership with line teams, colleagues from other functions including IT. and other project groups, so will need to be comfortable communicating at a variety of levels through to MD.

Requirements
• Ideally educated to degree level
• Significant investment banking knowledge particularly in the areas on Middle Office/PL/Product Control. Some of this experience will have been gained while working in a projects environment (IT or business).
• Hands-on program management experience of substantial deliveries
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills that you can tailor to a broad range of audience seniorities with confidence – and ability to influence that stakeholder group.
• Excellent team working and client relationship skills (not necessarily external clients)
• A desire to be at the top of your profession and the ambition to make that a reality.
