The Talent Acquisition function at State Street is the internal function dedicated to identifying and managing recruiting channels for new hires across the State Street organisation. We partner closely with the Talent Development function and together we make up the Global Talent Management group.

We are looking to recruitment a Talent Acquisition Administrator to join our team in London on an initial six month temporary contract. 

Responsibilities:

• Provide administration and coordination activities in support of the UK in house recruitment team

• Produce accurately and efficiently employment offer letters, contracts of employment and create / send out employment offer packs

• Post job adverts online

• Update and maintain required candidate and applicant information in PeopleSoft (our recruitment / applicant tracking system)

• Setting up and coordinating candidate interviews and interview days

• Manage creation of new hire employee files against checklists

• Manage background checking process of new hires to include working with the 3rd party background checking supplier used to conduct checks

• Work with immigration firm to ensure all new hires have right to live and work in UK. Where appropriate work with recruiter and immigration supplier to manage process of sponsoring highly skilled candidates for work visas. 

• Participate in the on-boarding process for new hires at all levels within the organization

• Prepare and distribute standard and ad hoc reports within specified guidelines

• Develop and maintain good working relationships with internal and external candidates, hiring managers and HR colleagues

• Coordinate effective and timely flow of critical information to all relevant parties and follow up on administrative details within or across divisions. Handles confidential and sensitive information

• CV Screening of candidate applications against open positions as required supporting the recruiters. Completes special projects, as required

• Provides back up to other recruitment team members, as needed

Qualifications / Person Requirements:

• Equivalent work experience in an in house recruitment department, agency recruiting or Human Resources environment

• Strong time management and organizational skills 

• Accurate and detail-oriented

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to multi task in a fast paced environment

• Ability to exercise diplomacy and discretion

• Strong customer service skills

• Proficiency with MS Office Applications

• Ideally experience with internet and intranet based ATS (applicant tracking) and HRIS systems, preferably E-Recruit PeopleSoft) knowledge of internet sourcing sites and techniques
