As a partner and consultant to the mountain management team, the Talent Acquisition Manager will be based in one of Colorado Ski Resort locations and will focus on two overarching areas of responsibility: full life-cycle recruiting for seasonal and year-round positions, as well as ownership and deployment of programs, workforce planning, and special projects related to talent acquisition. In addition, this position will work with the Resort Recruiter and the talent leadership team to implement a recruiting model that aligns to the needs of the business as well as with VR's model for Talent Acquisition. Responsible for full life-cyle recruiting for all high-impact seasonal and year-round positions, including sourcing, screening, and acquisition. Acts as mountain point of contact for the Strategic Sourcing Center to ensure all high-volume positions are being filled with high-quality candidates. Responsible for the process, metrics and hiring manager satisfaction associated with the Strategic Sourcing Center at his/her location. Partner with mountain human resources and hiring managers to review, analyze, and clarify job descriptions/requirements, competencies/skills required or preferred and understand resort operations and positions. Manage and act as local Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the Applicant Tracking System including project lead responsibililties, reporting analytics, training, compliance, and internal user communication. Responsible for mountain ownership and deployment of all talent acquisition programs. Act as mountain lead and change agent for special projects such as but not limited to process efficiency, candidate quality, hiring manager satisfaction, metric analysis, and ATS upgrade/module implementations. Responsible for the overall HM experience at the mountain. Enable the improvement of this experience by educating and guiding hiring managers in assessment, selection and onboarding techniques including behavioral interviewing, assessment analysis, roundtable meetings, compliance/diversity initiatives and best-practice candidate communication and onboarding. Owns employment brand (creative, social, print, etc.) for the county, in collaboration with Corporate. Responsible for mountain specific compliance/audit including but not limited to AAP, EEO, etc. Maintain knowledge of HR regulations. Understand, communicate, and answer candidate questions with regards to employee-policies and benefits. Partner with the Resort's senior management to develop workforce plans including headcount planning, succession planning, talent analytics and metrics (turnover, retention, candidate/hiring manager satisfaction, etc.), seasonal furlough tracking and department specific sourcing/compliance/diversity strategies.
