The Opportunity
Providing support to the Actuarial Director (or external appointed actuaries) you shall be expected to fulfil the appointed actuary roles for the insurance companies based in different countries, by managing and carrying out the actuarial duties for those companies.
The Responsibilities
In brief:
● Insuring of all financial and regulatory reporting and accounting from external consultancies
● Manage the delivery of the companies’ regulatory actuarial reporting and reserving requirements
●Support the financial management
●Provide Actuarial support and expertise to the business initiatives
● Ad-hoc duties - these would be given by the Director or due to a circumstance in the interest of the business.
The Competencies
● Fully qualified actuary, preferably UK/IRL Certified - University Degree in an actuarial, finance or mathematical subject.
● Minimum of 5-7 years of actuarial experience within insurance and/or investment.
● Strong actuarial knowledge in a life insurance environment, especially of regulatory environments in Ireland, Gibraltar and Bermuda.
●Advanced Excel skills and knowledge of MoSes
●English with fluency in French
●Proactive, analytical, problem solver, can work under pressure
