Tax – Manager – Adelaide recruitment

Our corporate tax group works with clients to structure business activities and transactions in a manner that manages both the tax imposts and taxation risks on the business. We help local and international clients achieve their business goals in a tax efficient manner, addressing matters such as tax strategy, planning and compliance, international tax, acquisitions, divestments and financing.
We currently have a managerial vacancy within the tax team. The ideal candidate for this role will have over 5 years of tax and professional services experience in a chartered environment.

Key responsibilities:
· Possess solid technical knowledge and understanding of corporate tax gained in a professional services environment, including a good working knowledge of and experience in all aspects of corporate tax compliance.
· Day to day management of clients including effective scoping of work and the ability to anticipate and meet client demands.
· Coaching and developing others, including providing constructive formal and informal feedback on a timely basis.
· Overall monitoring of progress of assignments against budget, with the aim of alerting the client of potential out of scope work and negotiating fees with clients.
· Work as part of a team to identify opportunities to meet team goals and drive a collaborative culture
· Ensuring deadlines are met and quality work is delivered.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills
