Tax Manager – New Zealand recruitment
Wellington is the capital city and second most populous urban area in New Zealand. It is at the south-western tip of the North Island and is home to 393,400 residents. Wellington has been marked as the 'coolest little capital in the world' by Positively Wellington Tourism. Although it is described as a windy city, the city averages 2025 hours (or about 169 days) of sunshine per year. The climate is a temperate marine one, is generally moderate all year round, and rarely sees temperatures rise above 25 °C (77 °F), or fall below 4 °C (39 °F).
My client, a global public practice firm, is looking for a Tax Manager to join their team. To be considered for this role, you will match the following criteria:
- At least 5 years tax experience
- MUST have previous New Zealand tax experience
- Need an accounting background and relevant degree from a recognised university
- CA qualified is desirable
- Tax experience: corporate compliance but would need experience/knowledge in international tax and transfer pricing
- Mixed client base (mentioned oil gas, retail, manufacture etc)
