Team Assistant
Banking and Financial Services Group (BFS) is the primary relationship manager for Macquarie's retail client base in Australia, New Zealand, Asia, North America and Europe. Products and services include wealth management, stockbroking and retail lending and banking solutions such as residential and commercial mortgages, investment lending, personal loans, credit cards and relationship banking to businesses and professionals.
The Macquarie Banking and Financial Services (BFS) - Personal Banking Division has been established to grow the propriety customer base of Macquarie by delivering a differentiated range of Macquarie branded products and services directly to our target segments.
This division now has an opportunity for a Team Assistantto join the team in our Shelley St Offices on a permanent basis. This busy and varied role reports into the Executive Assistant of Personal Banking and is responsible for providing administrative assistance to the team, as well as support for the Executive Assistant.
Key Responsibilities will include but not limited to:
- Diary management - including arranging meetings with internal and external clients, room bookings, catering and RSVP's.
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders
- Ad-hoc sales reporting and sales data uploading using Salesforce
- Administration of new starter and transfers which includes liaising with HR, arranging technology and programs, equipment etc
- Preparation of invoices, expense reimbursements and monthly Amex's for team
- Scanning / photocopying / filing of team documents
- Assisting with office area management including, kitchen rosters, team mail, stock ordering
To be successful in this role you will;
- Secondary School education and or relevant qualifications desirable
- Experience in a similar administrative role with an interest in the Finance industry highly desired
- Proactive, self motivated and strong initiative
- Reliable, mature minded and able to work well under pressure
- Relish working within a dynamic team environment where accuracy, hard work and a sense of humour is encouraged
- Be highly organised and have excellent time management skills
- Possess excellent attention to detail and multi-tasking ability
- Be flexible in your approach to work and able to adapt to a constantly changing environment
- Intermediate MS office skills and computer literacy ideal
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, and the ability to communicate with people of all levels
- Naturally helpful nature and willing to help wherever needed
- Driven, focused and able to handle confidential information with the upmost professionalism at all times
- Well presented, switched on and able to work at a fast pace
