Team Lead Global 2nd Level Support – Director Level – FXMM platform operations recruitment
In this challenging role, you will be responsible for the availability, reliability and stability of various, current settlement systems of the FXMM operations departments by having direct contacts with the business users. In order to this, you will develop effective communication lines, understand the problems of the business users and translate them into technical problems, but also proactively seek and repair system problems. You will develop batches und bug-fixes where needed and implement tools to maintain, monitor and troubleshoot the applications and infrastructure. You will develop automation tools where possible and provide the users with training.
On top off that, you will get the opportunity to broaden your experience; In the context of a strategic project in which the current operation FXMM platform will be rebuild and the functions migrated, you will also be heavily involved in the change requirements and therefore participate along the full life cycle when it comes to the involvement from your Production Services team.
In order to be considered for this role, Swisslinx is looking for a professional and experienced individual with the following skills and experience:
-Computer Science Degree or similar.
-Experience as a Team Leader of a global support organization
-Technical background
-Solid understanding of mainframe technologies (Cobol, CICS, DB2, SQL, VSAM, JCL, TSO) are essential
-Any experience with IMS and Java is beneficial
-Very strong analytical, problem-solving and prioritisation skills
-Fluent English; German is a nice-to-have
