The Flow Trade Support team is responsible for providing support to the Equity Derivative Single Name, Index, convertible Bond trading desks and GCM business which covers lifecycle management of their products and associated hedges.
The team's responsibilities include product set up, exercise of T+0 trade capture controls, event management, trade reporting and all key reconciliations.

This role is at Director level, managing a team of 4 people responsible, key responsibilities include the exercise of supervisory due diligence, management of daily processes and line management of the team including providing regular 1-2-1 feedback and regular appraisals.

The successful candidate will be required to have a strong control focus on managing the existing processes as well as the ability to identify future enhancements to both the tactical and strategic agenda.

The candidate will be responsible for the following:

Managing team of 4 people
Controlling daily workflow
Definition of team member objectives, delivery of midyear and end of year reviews
Building relationships with Operation teams, Financial Controllers and Front Office Risk Managers
Managing tactical agenda to enhance control framework
Help to identify, drive and implement process improvements
Weekly and monthly reporting of Key Risk Indicators in relation to the team activities
Ad-hoc reporting as and when required

Skills Required:
Familiarity with the front-to-back lifecycle of derivative products
Proven line management experience
Good understanding of derivatives, ideally equity derivative OTC and listed options
Strong organisational and time management skills
Ability to meet strict deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Ability to adapt existing skills in a new environment quickly
Ability to think laterally, and recognise opportunities for system/process improvement.
Ability to understand complex problems quickly and move projects forward
Good communication/relationship building
Understanding of the settlement process and systems.
Degree qualified or equivalent.
