Team Leader – Compliance – Credit Products recruitment
Our client is a major institution based in Ireland and they require a Compliance Team Leader to manage and oversee the risk structures within a particular Division.
The overall Unit is broken into 4 different areas from across the core business; Credit Products. Deposits and Wealth Products, Payment Products and Distribution Channels (Retail and Direct Banking). This role with focus on the Credits Products unit.
- Develop and maintain the compliance culture across Business and Personal Banking
- Ensure a direct open line of contact is consistently kept between you and Managers and Senior Managers
- Adhere to the Banks risk assessment procedures in completion a full and thorough compliance risk assessment across the bank
- Act as expert with regards compliance knowledge in order to provide guidance and strategic advice when necessary
- Manage relationship with Central Bank
- Provide regular MI Reports to heads of units as well as providing input into any other ad hoc report that may be requested
- Give guidance and develop the skills of junior staff members on the team in order to utilize their skills most affectively

Technical experience is required in the following areas:
- 3rd Level degree or higher
- A minimum of 7 years’ experience in a senior compliance role
- Excellent communication and delegation experience
- Extension Regulatory knowledge which may affect the banking industry
- Must have a confident approach when presenting
- Solid IT background in particular with Internal Banking Systems
