Opportunity
Our client a world renowned financial services institution, headquartered in the United States, are seeking a Team Leader for their operations on the offshore financial centre of Guernsey.
The Client is a world renowned, blue-chip organisation originating in the United States over 100 years ago, this has expanded to a global brand which has offices covering all major markets and financial hubs.
Key elements to the role involve the following:
- Organising a complete list of client reporting requirements,
- Performance management and recommending best practice for the team
- Allocating jobs to team of staff and managing their duties
- Providing on the job training, monitoring work load and reporting deadlines
- Reviewing accounts and working papers, authorising completion of accounts
- Keeping staff well trained and motivated
Key Requirements
- 3 plus years post qualified ACCA/ACA or equivalent
- University degree is a relevant subject
- Knowledge of Open and Closed ended Funds
- 3 plus years working in Fund Accounting
- Experience dealing with clients, boards and auditors
- Previous Team Leader experience
- IFRS and UK GAAP experience
