Manages internal controls and risk management efforts at the corporate level for a large segment of Client Services Delivery Group as they relate to very complex regulatory, legal, policy, procedures and practices. Supports the line of business in developing and implementing standards and policies appropriate for the business that conform to the principles and guidelines established by Risk Management including the active identification, assessment and management of the risks it faces, and development of continuous risk management process through trending of Loss Data and Key Risk Indicators as well as through Risk Control Self-Assessment oversight. Will work on new, complex Operational and Risk-related project/initiatives as they arise throughout the year. Incumbent will have significant contact with Senior Business Unit Managers.

Qualifications

The qualified candidate will have at least 10+ years of relevant product/financial services and/or auditing and compliance management experience with a thorough knowledge of banking and fiduciary regulations (both domestic and international), operations and accounting. Excellent problem-solving, analytical abilities, oral and written communications skills. Proven ability to handle stressful situations with client and regulators while maintaining a professional approach to problem solving. Outstanding interpersonal skills in order to influence and impact business decisions over which the incumbent has not direct authority. Proven ability to manage a staff and numerous projects simultaneously. B.S./B.A. required; MBA or professional certifications (CPA, CIA, CTA, etc.) preferred.
