Team Leader – Mortgages – Jersey recruitment
About the challenge
Working with the Head of Mortgages, you will be responsible for agreeing sales targets to achieve immediate financial goals and profitable sustained growth through providing clients with a world class service. You will be responsible for leading a team of Mortgage Specialists across both our Jersey and Guernsey platforms, taking responsibility for the people management agenda including resourcing and driving a high performance culture within the team, whilst ensuring thorough Risk Management and Client Service practices. This role will be based in Jersey with frequent travel to Guernsey.
About you
We’re looking for someone with a background in mortgage advice and people management. You’ll be a successful manager with the ability to motivate and lead, with a focus on continuous team improvement and a strong desire to develop the business. You should be able to deliver quality results with a challenging but positive and influential style. You will also have excellent numerical skills as well as a good knowledge of the MS Office suite of products. From an academic standpoint, the CeMAP (or equivalent) qualification is required.
