Overview:
As a Senior Associate, you will be responsible for engaging the group and monitoring daily deliverables for the team in which you are Team Leader . You will need to demonstrate the ability to influence people as well as engage with your peers and managers . You will embrace change while continuously looking to make further improvements within your team. The Senior Associate is responsible for reviewing the work and input of the Associates as well as follow up on queries and resolving issues. You must have the ability to communicate with both internal and external clients. In this role, you will have strong query management and resolution skills.
The Senior Associate role provides an opportunity for you to excel your team building skills, share your knowledge and experience as well as mentor others. For each of the departments this role demands effective time management, strong relationship building capabilities and attention to detail as well as focus on people.
Core Responsibilities:
- Be a team leader in problem resolution and team building activities to distribute the day's task allocation accordingly
- Review and audit work processed by the associates within the team to ensure accuracy
- Review and sign checklists to ensure all tasks are completed to meet deadlines
- Respond promptly to internal and external queries and participate in the resolution of problems
- Monitor the performance of outsourced or off-shore sites and ensure all issue logs are up to date and addressed appropriately and periodically
- Coordinate and help lead weekly group meetings
- Conduct Performance Reviews and facilitate regular discussions with reports
- Mentor and develop other team members
- Ensure full understanding and adherence to corporate Risk Policy and Standard Operating Procedures including co-ordination of Self Tests for
Qaulifactions Experience:
- Undergraduate degree and/or formal qualifications in a relevant business stream, not required but preferableffectively communicate with clients, managers, and peers within State Street
- Demonstrate the ability to assess and suggest resolution to a problem
- Be a strong team player and demonstrate dedication to group and company goals
- Demonstrate professional maturity and effective time management
