Team Manager - Sales and Service

Job Description The Team Manager is responsible for providing excellent sales and customer service through development and performance management of team members by inspiring, monitoring, coaching, and providing feedback. This position promotes the sales of on-site service leads to contractor firms, strengthens customer relationships, and mentors and coaches inside personnel. Additionally, this position performs administrative duties, including hiring, scheduling, performance managing, and application of organizational policies and procedures. This position also provides leadership by delegating and empowering associates, recognizing and rewarding customer centric and sales behaviors, and communicating openly with the team. Responsibilities/Skills/Experience Requirements 1. Promotes simplicity, quality and ease of use in the development of computer application systems. 2. Manages multiple projects effectively ensuring project members meet agreed upon schedules within defined budgets and allocated resources. 3. Manages the technical analysis of appropriate programming languages, operating systems and/or hardware configurations to be used for best performance of computer systems and for resolving production problems in order to achieve department objectives. Provides technical understanding and oversight where needed. 4. Manages development projects using SHC architecturally approved technology and budgets with other company business areas to accomplish business objectives. 5. Defines and communicates objective measurements to support strategic and tactical goals. Ensures project milestones are met. 6. Manages the development, implementation and administration of operational policies, programs and systems within functional area. Establishes methods and procedures for departmental work activities; identifies and resolves operational problems; and communicates expertise and approvals concerning departmental activities. 7. Hires, orients, trains, evaluates, recommends pays increases and develops associates whose work is considered professional, administrative or clerical. When necessary, carries out disciplinary actions or recommends termination of employment. 8. Allocates resources to projects based on available skill sets within team.
